Shipbreaking is an international industry in the world circle. Chittagong, in Bangladesh, is the biggest shipbreaking yard in the world. Through different windows, from a tour bus to the local market, harbor, and the classroom, we experience or observe shipbreaking in a gradually increasing distance. Distance work as a metaphor, as ship owners and companies, always watch shipbreaking from faraway windows.

FOOTAGES DESGINING
The first clip is the local market in the shipbreaking yard. We are watching this scene through the travel bus window on the beach. The second clip is the shipbreaking process. and when the camera moves back, we watch this procession at the grocery store that sells furniture removed from ships. we are moving further from the shore and watching the shipbreaking at a longer distance than the first one. The third clip is about a busy harbor. Then, as usual, the camera moves back and the audience, which is us will find we are in a foreigner registration room that provides service, helping them change their convenient flags. The last clip is a screen that caught that searching of shipbreaking in Chittagong, we collect information in our IDEAS campus in Los Angeles. And the window to the other side is our laptop. Every step we move further from the Chittagong, we still got a connection with it. Everyone could get a connection with it.
